I have always loved stories. As a kid I loved books so much that my parents would threaten to take them away from me if I didn't clean my room. My love for books started very young and I remember snuggling up beside my dad so I could examine the pictures as he read me my story. For me the illustrations were always very important and added a separate narrative and layer to the tale.
This video illustrates the age old story of the Old Man and The Sea using nothing more than white paper and a black marker. The illustrations are fluid and loose and tell the dramatic tale very uniquely. I hope you enjoy your story time today!
